Well, if all goes according to plan (ie this game doesn't turn into a shit pile like XIV did) this is the next MMO I will play until D3. I've never been one for comic books, I've never even read one outside of the AvP universe, and I've never really gotten into superhero games or lore. I never played City of Heroes, though I remember hearing it was a good game back in the day. That said, this game looks fucking sick. A cool thing that it has over CoH is that it's actually a licensed superhero game. It was supposed to come out this month, but got pushed back to (probably) Feb. 2011. That's good. It shows that they're doing all they can to make it work and not be faggots like Square.

Def has that CoH/CoV feel and PoV, but I mean only in one sense looks and style. I am not sure why in Cov/CoH they had like goofy movement, like.. cheesy almost? hard to explain and I See it here too >_< haha but yeah some of the moves , city scapes etc, but then again when u play dargon mmos how much diff can u get too?
So in that sense Id have tosee controls and Ui to compare it even further, altho i only played for like a month. I will say it was fun as shit doing wtf u wanted in a city liek jumping SUPPPPPER high or flying or running super fast!!! CoV/CoH was action packed, fast paced, had a lot of neat shit that put standards we see in mmos today that people think WoW came up with >_ If This game can achieve this, make it super cool and fun, not necesarily super serious, like what i feel when I play stuff my usual mmos. I dunno it was just fun cuz u were dressed in crazy costumes haha and did all kinds of random shit and thing is this is gonna be a 2011 game (i think) so it has to look better, play better and have all the cool new shit mmos tend to put in to entertain us. My friend used to say COV/CoH was a very casual game, was fun to log in and u didnt have to play all day. That was the problem for people who have all day. Guess we will have to wait and c =o
sorry for types and errors and choppiness multi tasking

I can't explain it but one thing that I've seen with all these superhero games is the movement seems very "console" or arcade-ish. They're more action oriented and fast-paced and I'm used to "kay target something then spam 2 buttanz". This supposedly has the camera and controls of Arkham Asylum, which I haven't played but I know it was raved over as being one of the best games of recent years. I've also heard that there's no cursor either.
Hopefully it controls like Vindictus, which also has no cursor, but on a more epic scope. Since there are medieval themed DC heroes and settings I'm looking forward to those aspects of the game.
Definitely going to check out beta/trial/reviews before buying though.

Well let me know when the beta comes out and if its free for everyone or selection, or do I have to sign up. lol I need to check my gaming email acc, i signed up for so many betas haha.
But yeah no cursor, never played an mmo like that I guess . CoH/CoV had a cursor i am pretty sure cuz i could target bars to heal XD. If there is no cursor does that mean no skill clicking? ;c? lol
